Juggling Exercise & A Busy Lifestyle

With busy lifestyle, few adults especially with families cannot afford to take the time necessary to go to the gym or exercise regularly. Unfortunately, with the rise of sedentary jobs and processed food, this is an ongoing problem aiding the obesity epidemic and cardiovascular diseases.

Still, we all acknowledge that exercise is just undeniably good for you. If you name any random 10 medical conditions and diseases, I am willing to bet that some form of frequent exercise is a good treatment or preventative measure for at least 9 of them. Diet and exercise do not get enough credit as treatments and preventative measures in so many of the diseases that ail us today. Instead of trying to move more and eat better, rather than get assigned 5 different medications with side effects leading to more problems. Both of these areas are a good place to focus on if you’re concerned about your health. Even just some simple walking for exercise can go a long way to improving your health. Walking for exercise is fun, easy, and is a great stress reducer!

A great idea is having gym equipment for a home workout, especially with COVID. People have become more sedentary and need to build their immune system. This does not mean get enough equipment to fill up the basement or several bedrooms. It enough to get a great workout in at home.

What you want is something that you enjoy and can be done in the privacy. For example, all you need to “tone” muscles is a good resistance. Training program with your own bodyweight and 1 other piece of equipment (dumbbells). If you are more of an aerobic person a peloton or treadmill may be what you are looking for. The idea of a home gym is something that will save you hours and limit your excuses, not to workout. It allows the exercise program that your desire to complete right from your own home. Remember something is better than nothing whether it’s a 15-minute home workout or going for a walk.
